Inaugural Atlanta St. Patrick’s Day Foundation Golf Tournament Raises $160,000.
The Atlanta St. Patrick’s Parade received an autumn boost when more than 120 golfers gathered at Peachtree Golf Club on Oct. 31, 2011 for the Inaugural Atlanta St. Patrick’s Day Foundation Golf Tournament. The sold out event raised $160,000 to support The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Georgia and the 2012 edition of the parade. Flanking the winning foursome are Dave Fitzgerald (far left), chairman of the 2012 Atlanta St. Patrick’s Day Parade and the Honorable Paul Gleeson (far right), Irish Consul General. The 2011 winning team (L-R) of Mark Preisinger, Neil Johnson, Michael Keough and Tom Daly will defend their championship in next year’s tournament.
2012 Atlanta St. Patrick’s Parade Summary
What: The Atlanta St. Patrick’s Parade and Festival is held annually in downtown Atlanta. The 2012 Parade is Atlanta’s 130th since 1858. This is the 154th Anniversary of the first Hibernian Benevolent Society of Atlanta’s St. Patrick’s Celebration.

Who: Parade is staged by Atlanta St. Patrick’s Parade Inc. an outgrowth of the 153 year old Hibernian Benevolent Society of Atlanta’s St. Patrick’s Parade. The “Parade Committee” consists of members of Atlanta’s Irish Societies.
Where: The Atlanta St. Patrick’s Parade begins at 12:00 noon, Peachtree Street at Ralph McGill, proceeds down Peachtree toward Woodruff Park. See Route Map Attached – Click Here
